A mom, a wife, a teacher, and for the last three years a resin glass artist, that's me. My name is Naoma Tootell and on this site you'll find pictures of my passion, pictures of my resin glass art. In 2021, I made my first resin glass art piece and fell in love with this form of mixed media art. My art work varies, most pieces are painted by myself, adorned with glass accents from a wide range of glass types. I use tempered glass, sheet glass, glass from bottles and bowls, vitrigraph (string glass), and sometimes sea glass. Art pieces are painted on canvas, wood panel boards, live edge wood, wood slat boards, glass, and picture frames. Other accessories used in my art are season and festival charms and ornaments. My work comes from many places such as Art Shattered by Cindy Manly, Michelle the Painter, Keep it Colorful by Jesse Roberts, and Agnes Friedlanders's Studio. I also find inspiration from ideas shared with me and many other ways. After being a teacher for seventeen years, and a mom to two wonderful boys, and a wife to an amazing man, I now get to pursue this new venture. I hope you enjoy my work.
